Bakhoor Mumaiz 70g - El Nabil

Bakhoor Mumaiz is the spiced entry in El Nabil's incense range: rosy and spicy top notes, a heart of saffron and ginger, and a base of vanilla and amber.

Saffron and ginger give it a dry, warm lift, and the vanilla-amber base is what keeps that spice from turning sharp. The rosy opening sits on top of both.

How to burn it. A charcoal disc, lit and left until it turns grey at the edges, then two or three chips placed on top. It burns for ten to fifteen minutes and the room holds the scent for hours. Any more than three chips and you get smoke instead of fragrance.

Where it works. A daytime room, an entrance hall, or a kitchen after cooking. Saffron carries well in air that is moving, so light it near an open door rather than in a sealed room.

Keep the container closed. Once the aromatic oils dry out, the chips burn as wood and nothing else.
