Bakhoor Al Night 30g - El Nabil

Bakhoor Al Night by El Nabil is a 30 g blend of oud wood, musk, spices, herbs and fragrant resins, with oud chips soaked in aromatic oils.

What is in the blend

The soaked chips are the part that matters. A bakhoor built only on ground wood burns fast and thin; chips that have absorbed aromatic oils release their scent slowly as they heat, which is what gives a blend like this its depth and its length on the charcoal.

How to burn it

A small piece on a lit charcoal disc in a mabkhara, or on an electric burner - easier indoors, and with no smoke from the charcoal itself. A piece the size of a fingernail scents a room; more produces smoke rather than more fragrance.

Walk clothes and hair through the smoke to carry the scent, the way it is traditionally worn. Ventilate afterwards.
