Baroque Satin Oud by Maison Alhambra is a floral woody oud eau de parfum: lemon, bergamot and pink pepper at the top, rose, patchouli and violet at the heart, sandalwood, amber, musk and agarwood at the base. One hundred millilitres.

Rose against patchouli and violet

Rose brings the romance in the heart; patchouli's earthy depth and violet's powdery softness around it are what keep the composition from reading as simply floral, setting up the resinous sandalwood-agarwood base that follows.

How it wears

Two sprays, then wait: the citrus-pepper opening is loudest first, and the oud-amber base is what carries through the rest of the day. Evening and cooler months suit its considerable presence.
