Cherie Blossom by Volare is a fruity gourmand eau de parfum built on cherry: almond and rose at the top, cherry and amber at the heart, tonka bean, toffee and balsam of Peru at the base. One hundred millilitres.

Cherry here reads sweet, juicy and slightly liqueur-like rather than simply fruity; amber alongside it in the heart adds sensual, lightly resinous depth, keeping the composition from tipping into pure sweetness.

How it wears

Two sprays, then wait: the almond-rose opening is loudest first, and the tonka-toffee-balsam base is what carries through the rest of the day. Presented in a deep red bottle.
