Rose in a gourmand

That is the unusual element. Vanilla and cocoa in a heart would ordinarily read as dessert; the rose alongside them is floral and slightly green, and it gives the middle of the composition a lift that keeps the whole thing from settling into sweetness too early.

How to wear it

Cool weather and evenings. Strong projection, so two sprays rather than four. It layers well under a dry vanilla, if you already wear one - the amber base gives the drier fragrance something to sit on.
