Beauty of Joseon's Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics is the sunscreen the house is best known for. SPF50, fifty millilitres.

What is in it

Four modern UV filters - diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, ethylhexyl triazone, methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol and diethylhexyl butamido triazone - which is what gives it broad protection without the heavy texture older filters require.

The probiotic side is not marketing: the formula carries lactobacillus rice and pumpkin ferments, monascus rice ferment, bacillus soybean ferment, aspergillus ferment and saccharomyces rice ferment filtrate. Rice appears as extract, germ extract and ferment. Niacinamide, adenosine and green tea sit alongside them.

How to use it

Morning, as the last step before makeup. Apply generously and reapply when outdoors - in this climate, that means most days rather than only in summer.
