Dirham by Ard Al Zaafaran is a citrus-and-spice unisex eau de parfum, in 100 ml.

The opening

Citrus lifted by bergamot, with cardamom against it. Cardamom is the spice that makes this work: it is green and slightly camphorous rather than hot, so it sharpens the citrus instead of warming it, and the two together read as bracing rather than sweet.

Why it suits this climate

A citrus opening on a long-lasting base is the hardest thing to build in perfumery - citrus is volatile and normally disappears within the hour. Getting it to hold is what makes a fragrance genuinely wearable through a Gulf working day, where heavier compositions become too much by midday.
