Dirham Oud by Ard Al Zaafaran is an oriental unisex eau de parfum: citrus and raspberry at the top, sandalwood, rose and lavender at the heart, oud, amber, cedarwood and white musk at the base. One hundred millilitres.

Lavender in an oud heart

That is the unusual detail. Sandalwood and rose in the heart are soft and traditional; lavender alongside them brings an aromatic, slightly cool edge that most oud compositions do not have, which is what balances the warmth building toward the oud base.

How it wears

Two sprays, then wait: the citrus-raspberry opening is bright and short-lived, and the oud-amber base is what the fragrance settles into. Worn by men and women.
