Fakhar Extrait is the darkest reading in Lattafa's Fakhar line - a spiced citrus opening over leather, in 100 ml.

Notes

Top: cardamom, grapefruit, pink pepper
Heart: tuberose, solar notes, artemisia
Base: amber, cashmeran, leather, labdanum

How it wears

The solar notes in the heart are the unusual part: they give the middle a warm, sunlit quality that sits oddly and effectively against the artemisia, which is bitter and herbal. Then the base drops into leather and labdanum, and the fragrance becomes considerably heavier than its grapefruit opening suggested.

That progression takes the better part of an hour, so this is not a bottle to judge at the nozzle. Evening and cooler months suit the leather base; two sprays is enough.
