Hersh 2 by Al Ezz Oud is a citrus spiced woody unisex eau de parfum: lemon, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange at the top, Tunisian orange blossom, Nigerian ginger and Ceylon cinnamon at the heart, Chinese black tea, ambroxan, guaiac wood and frankincense at the base. One hundred millilitres.

Black tea at the base, not the top

Black tea is usually a top note when it appears at all; here it shows up late, alongside ambroxan and guaiac wood, giving the drydown a dry, slightly smoky character instead of the sweet amber close this citrus-spiced opening might suggest.

How it wears
