I Am The King by Ard Al Zaafaran is a spiced woody masculine eau de parfum: bergamot and black pepper at the top, geranium, lavender, Sichuan pepper, pink pepper, elemi, vetiver and patchouli at the heart, cedarwood, ambroxan and labdanum at the base. One hundred millilitres.

Three peppers in one heart

Black pepper opens it sharp, Sichuan pepper in the heart adds a tingling, almost citrus-adjacent quality distinct from ordinary pepper, and pink pepper brings a softer, fruitier edge - three different pepper materials doing three different jobs, which is what gives this composition its complexity.

How it wears
