Imaginix Prime by Prime Collection is a fresh woody unisex eau de parfum: pink grapefruit, ginger and peppermint at the top, clary sage, lavender and cardamom at the heart, cedarwood, vetiver and ambergris at the base. One hundred millilitres.

Grapefruit and mint together

That opening is bracing rather than simply fresh - mint gives it a cold, sharp edge that pure citrus does not have, and the ginger underneath keeps it from reading as toothpaste-clean. Clary sage and lavender in the heart pull it into a more aromatic, considered register.

How it wears

Two sprays on the neck and the inside of the wrists. The vetiver-ambergris base is what gives it staying power beyond the citrus opening - genuinely long-lasting for a fresh composition, which is the harder trick to pull off.
