Khamrah Dukhan 100ml - Lattafa

Khamrah Dukhan is the smoky reading in Lattafa's Khamrah family: spice, pepper and mandarin at the top, labdanum, incense, patchouli and orange blossom at the heart, tonka bean, benzoin, amber, praline and tobacco at the base. One hundred millilitres. Dukhan means smoke.

That contrast in the heart is the whole idea. Labdanum and incense are dark, resinous and smoky - a register the name promises - and orange blossom cutting across them keeps the composition luminous rather than heavy, before it settles into the same gourmand base the Khamrah family is known for.

How it wears

Two sprays, then wait: the pepper and mandarin are loudest at the opening, and the tobacco-praline base is where the fragrance settles for the rest of the day. Evening and cooler months suit its considerable weight.
