Oud Mood Elixir by Lattafa is an oriental woody eau de parfum built around agarwood: leather, spice and nutmeg at the top, suede and sandalwood at the heart, vanilla and amber at the base. One hundred millilitres.

Suede beside sandalwood

Suede is lighter than leather, with fruity, animalic and powdery facets, and it is what bridges the leathery-spiced opening into the milky, resinous sandalwood at the heart - a smoother transition than agarwood alone would give.

How it wears

Two sprays, then wait: the leathery-spiced opening is loudest first, and the vanilla-amber base is what carries through the rest of the day. Evening and cooler months suit its considerable weight.
