L'Aventure Intense 100ml - Al Haramain

L'Aventure Intense is Al Haramain's chypre-floral for men: a fresh citrus opening over a warm, resinous base, and the more concentrated reading of the L'Aventure line.

Top notes: bergamot, lemon, elemi
Heart notes: woody accords, jasmine, lily of the valley
Base notes: patchouli, amber, musk

Chypre is one of perfumery's oldest structures — bright citrus at the top, a mossy or resinous foundation underneath — and it is what gives this fragrance its shape. The elemi in the opening is a resin, not a citrus, which is why the top reads warm rather than merely sharp; it is the bridge to the patchouli and amber below.

Longevity and use. The concentrated EDP formula holds strongly through a working day and into the evening. Two sprays on skin, on the neck and the inside of the wrists. Its citrus opening makes it one of the few fragrances of this weight that works in daylight and in heat, where a pure oriental would be too much.
