Floral over chypre

Chypre is the old structure - bright above, mossy and resinous below - and the Mediterranean essences here push it towards herbs and citrus rather than towards heaviness. The result is a floral with a dry, slightly bitter floor, which is exactly what keeps it feeling cool in warm weather.

Why cool matters here

Most feminine compositions are built warm, and warmth amplifies in heat until it becomes too much. A fragrance built cool does the opposite - it holds its shape through a Gulf afternoon.

How it wears
