Pacific Blue is Maison Alhambra's citrus-marine: a bright neroli-and-orange opening with a salt accord underneath, in 80 ml.

Notes

Top: neroli, lemon, mandarin orange, bitter orange, jasmine
Heart: orange blossom, lavender, sea salt
Base: herbal notes, amber, wormwood

How it wears

The whole composition turns on the sea salt in the heart. Without it this would be an orange-blossom cologne; with it, the citrus stays mineral and dry rather than sweet, and the wormwood in the base keeps a bitter green thread going after the fruit has burned off.

That structure makes it one of the more wearable things in the house catalogue in daytime heat, where an amber composition would be too much. 80 ml eau de parfum, worn by men and women, two sprays.
