Dr. Althea's Relief Cream 345 is a Korean barrier moisturiser aimed at reactive, easily irritated skin. Fifty millilitres.

What is in it

The soothing side comes from centella asiatica, houttuynia cordata, evening primrose and beta-glucan; the repair side from ceramide NP and panthenol. Hydration is handled by sodium hyaluronate and hydrolysed hyaluronic acid at two molecular weights, and niacinamide and resveratrol sit alongside them as an antioxidant pair.

Centella and ceramides together are the standard combination for a compromised barrier: one calms the reaction, the other rebuilds what is letting it happen.

How to use it

Last step of a routine, morning and night, on damp skin - a moisturiser applied over slightly damp skin holds considerably more water than one applied over dry. In the morning, sunscreen goes on top.
