Volare - Senate

Senate by Volare is a spiced woody amber masculine: neroli, Calabrian bergamot and pepper at the top, Sichuan pepper, lavender, pink pepper and geranium at the heart, vetiver, patchouli, elemi, cedarwood and labdanum at the base. Thirty millilitres.

Three peppers, three roles

Black pepper opens it sharp, Sichuan pepper in the heart brings a tingling, almost citrus-adjacent quality distinct from ordinary pepper, and pink pepper adds a softer, fruitier edge alongside geranium. Three peppers doing three different jobs is what gives this composition its complexity rather than reading as simply spicy.

How it wears

Two sprays on the neck and the inside of the wrists, then wait: the citrus-pepper opening settles considerably, and the vetiver-patchouli-labdanum base is what the fragrance is actually built on. Long-lasting; suited to daily wear and evenings alike.
