Vintage Radio by Lattafa Pride, in its radio-shaped bottle, is a green aromatic eau de parfum with a Palo Santo incense heart: lavender, sage and bergamot at the top, Palo Santo, citrus, mint and spice at the heart, plum and precious woods at the base. One hundred millilitres.

Palo Santo, and why it is unusual

Palo Santo is a South American wood traditionally burned as incense, rarely used as a perfumery note in this catalogue's Gulf-focused range. Its balsamic, woody-smoky character gives the heart a genuinely different register from the amber and oud compositions common elsewhere in the house.

How it wears

Two sprays, then wait: the lavender-sage opening settles into the Palo Santo heart over the first half hour, and plum with precious woods is what remains at the close.
