Agarwood and incense open it, which is unusual: most compositions hold the oud back for the base. Rose, raspberry, saffron and birch build the heart, the birch supplying a smoky, tarry leather edge. Amber, benzoin and geranium close it resinous. The same composition is sold as Jean Lowe Ombre in some markets.
