Ana Abiyedh is the white-oud reading in Ard Al Zaafaran's catalogue - the softer, cleaner side of the material rather than its dark resinous side. A 50 ml eau de parfum.

The name means I am white, and it describes the register: oud handled for clarity rather than depth. Where a traditional oud composition is smoky and animalic, this reading keeps the woody backbone and takes the weight out of it, which is what makes it wearable in daylight and in heat.

How it wears

Two sprays, then ten minutes. Even a soft oud needs skin contact before it settles, and it will read louder from the nozzle than it does an hour later. Worn by men and women.
