Blackcurrant, bergamot, apple and pineapple make the opening: herbal and fresh under the fruit rather than simply sweet. The heart moves into exotic spices and noble woods, which is where it gains weight. Vanilla and amber close it, balanced by oakmoss — and it is the oakmoss that keeps the finish rustic and dry instead of syrupy.

How it wears

50 ml eau de parfum. The fruit is loud for the first half hour and then steps aside for the spice and wood. Its freshness makes it one of the easier fragrances to wear in daytime heat, and the amber base keeps it from disappearing by lunchtime.
