Dark Aoud is Maison Alhambra at its most traditional — the bottle to reach for when you want oud that actually smells like oud.

Where much of the house's range interprets western profiles, this one stays in the Gulf idiom: dark, resinous agarwood with the smoky edge that makes oud recognisable across a room. It is not sweetened into submission. There is warmth underneath, but the wood leads.

How it wears

Strong from the first spray and long-lasting. One application is enough; two is deliberate. Best in the evening and in cooler months — in full daytime heat it becomes heavy quickly. It clings to fabric, which in this category is a feature rather than a fault.
