Aroosat Al Emarat by Ard Al Zaafaran is a floral oriental eau de parfum: bergamot and orange at the top, vetiver, iris, jasmine, rose and patchouli at the heart, musk, tonka bean, vanilla and caramel at the base. One hundred millilitres.

Vetiver and iris in a floral heart

That combination is what gives this composition its structure. Most floral hearts are soft on their own; vetiver is earthy and slightly smoky, iris is powdery and cool, and together they hold the rose and jasmine back from turning simply sweet before the caramel base arrives.

How it wears

Two sprays, then wait - the bergamot and orange are loudest at the opening, and the caramel-vanilla base is what carries the fragrance for the rest of the day.
