Velvet Rose is rose treated seriously — no fruit, no sugar, just the flower and what sits under it.

Rose and patchouli open it deep and slightly earthy. Musk and labdanum follow, adding a resinous warmth that gives the rose weight rather than sweetness. The base is musk and amber. The result is closer to a traditional Gulf rose attar than to a modern floral, and considerably more grown-up than the name suggests.

How it wears

Good projection with long wear. Unisex — rose is not a feminine note in the Gulf. Best in the evening and in cooler months.
