Vintage Castle is the strangest and most interesting fragrance in the Niche Emarati line — a patchouli built three layers deep.

Green patchouli and iris open it earthy and cool, almost damp. Patchouli returns at the heart with mimosa, softening the earth with a powdery yellow floral. And it appears a third time in the base, now with civet and marshmallow: animalic and sugary at once, which is a genuinely unusual pairing.

The result is a fragrance that smells old and modern simultaneously — vintage in the literal sense, and nothing else in the range comes close to it.

How it wears

Good projection with long wear. Unisex. Best in cooler months and in the evening, where the patchouli has room to develop.
