Fusion Intense is Maison Alhambra's leather-gourmand — an unusual pairing, and the reason this bottle has its own following.

Lavender and clary sage open it aromatic and calm, which sets you up for something classical. Then the heart turns: leather alongside bitter almond, vanilla and iris. Bitter almond next to leather is the signature of this style — the almond gives the leather a marzipan sweetness that should not work and does. Leather returns in the base with tonka bean, cashmeran, white woods and amber.
