Cinnamon, lavender and mandarin open it warm and aromatic. The heart is unusual for the house: iris and benzoin with cypress, giving a cool powdery quality that most Gulf orientals never attempt. It lands on vanilla, tonka, amber and incense over cedarwood and patchouli — smoky, sweet and dry all at once.
