I Am The Queen by Ard Al Zaafaran is a fruity floral feminine eau de parfum: sweet rose, black cherry and bergamot at the top, musk, orange blossom, jasmine and peony at the heart, soft musk and warm accords at the base. One hundred millilitres.

That pairing at the top is what gives the opening its richness. Rose alone would read as soft and familiar; black cherry alongside it adds a dark, slightly winey fruitiness, before the composition moves into a properly floral heart of orange blossom, jasmine and peony.

How it wears

Two sprays, then wait: the cherry-rose opening is loudest first, and the warm musk base is what carries through the rest of the day.
