Woods, and what is unusual here

The tropical side is the part worth noting. Oud is normally built dark: smoky, resinous, closer to a fire than a forest. Setting it against green, forest-like and tropical nuances lightens it considerably, and gives the composition an airiness the material rarely has on its own.

How it wears

Two sprays, then wait. Oud reads harsher at the nozzle than it will on skin an hour later, and anyone who judges it in the first five minutes has not smelled it yet. Evening suits it, though the lighter treatment makes it more wearable in daylight than most of the category.
