Jean Lowe Noir is the dark end of Maison Alhambra's Jean Lowe line — oud and incense from the first second, with none of the freshness of Immortal.

Agarwood and incense open it, which is unusual: most compositions save the oud for the base. Rose, raspberry, saffron and birch build the heart, and the birch is what brings in the smoky, tarry leather note that defines this style. Amber, benzoin and geranium close it resinous and warm.

Maison Alhambra sells the same composition as Jean Lowe Ombre in some markets — Noir is the newer name.
