Nancia Poudree is a feminine eau de parfum made in the United Arab Emirates - woody at the opening, floral at the heart, musk underneath. A 30 ml bottle.

Woods first, flowers after

That order is what makes it unusual. Most feminine compositions open floral and settle into woods; this one does the reverse, opening on soft enveloping woods and warming into a floral heart lifted by musk. The effect is more comforting than bright.

How it wears

Known for its longevity - the woody-musk structure is what carries it, and it holds well through a day. Two sprays at the pulse points; the woods read heavier in the first ten minutes than they will afterwards, so wait before adding more.

Thirty millilitres goes in a handbag, which means it can be topped up in the afternoon rather than worn only as applied in the morning.
