Raghba by Ard Al Zaafaran is an oriental gourmand built on oud and vanilla, in 50 ml.

Sugar in an oud composition

That is what separates this from a traditional resinous oud. Sugar in the heart, alongside incense, softens the oud's usual austerity and pushes the whole thing toward gourmand rather than formal - closer to a spiced dessert with oud underneath than to a straight resin.

How it wears

Two sprays, then wait: the vanilla and oud are loudest at the opening, and the sandalwood-amber base is what remains for the rest of the day. Evening and cooler months suit its weight.
