Shaghaf Oud Royale is the most restrained composition in the Swiss Arabian line — four ideas, cleanly executed, with nothing gourmand about it.

Saffron and lavender open it: an unusual pairing, the saffron leathery and the lavender aromatic, pulling the fragrance immediately towards the barbershop rather than the dessert table. Oud and nutmeg hold the heart, the nutmeg adding a dry warmth to the agarwood. Patchouli and musk close it earthy and clean.

The lavender is what sets Royale apart from the rest of the Shaghaf range — it is the only one that reads as classically masculine.
